WordPress training
To help you effectively update your site yourself we offer dedictaed WordPress training.
After a site has been built, it’s important to consider who will be responsible for the majority of the on-going maintenance, and make any updates to the site. Many of our clients like to update their site themselves, but may worry about using WordPress and potentially breaking something on the site. To help you get comfortable using WordPress, and feel confident to update your site yourself, we provide a 30 minute online handover. During this handover we go over the basics of WordPress. This can be done online or in-person, depending on your location.
We offer two types of WordPress training: Basic WordPress training, and Dedicated WordPress training, depending on what it is you wish to update on your site. WordPress requires no coding knowledge to be able to use, and allows us to be able to restrict editing on certain parts of the site, meaning no accidental changes can be made to the site’s design or code. We are always on hand to help out with any updates, and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about using WordPress.

What's the difference between your dedicated and basic training?
The primary difference between the two training options, is that the Basic WordPress training covers the general, need to knows of WordPress, while our Dedicated WordPress is much more personalised to you, and covers what you think you will need to know when updating your site.
How much does your WordPress training cost?
Our WordPress training is available for £250 for a half day online. If the training is in-person there may be travel costs in addition to the £250.
do I need to know any coding beforehand?
We may charge extra if a site has very specific requirements such as needing specific plugins to function effectively or if stock images are being used there may be some additional charges for them. If you are hosting your site with us, there will also be hosting charges.
can you update my site for me?
This depends on the size, and type of a site and its requirements. E-commerce stores for example, will take longer to build and develop than a simple, one page, static, brochure style site.
